Although close to the Tyneside conurbation, Ponteland's many well-maintained gardens, river, beautiful Park and surrounding quiet countryside provide a range of habitats which are home to a wide variety of plants and animals

What we do...

Our Group is here to encourage everyone's interest in wildlife and the environment, particularly in and around Ponteland. We meet for talks every month from September to April, and occasional outdoor events during the summer. Have a look at the upcoming talks and events

NEXT TALK: The first session of the 2025-26 programme will be on Tuesday 2nd September 2025 when John Halliday will be talking about Hares

The full programme for our 2025-26 season of talks will be available soon on our Talks page . As usual we'll be meeting in St. Mary's Parish Centre and refreshments will be available. Entry fee £3.
