Although close to the Tyneside conurbation, Ponteland's many well-maintained gardens, river, beautiful Park and surrounding quiet countryside provide a range of habitats which are home to a wide variety of plants and animals

What we do...

Our Group is here to encourage everyone's interest in wildlife and the environment, particularly in and around Ponteland. We meet for talks every month from September to April, and occasional outdoor events during the summer. Have a look at the upcoming talks and events

NEXT TALK: The next session of the 2024-25 programme is on Tuesday 1st April 2025
when we will be celebrating our 50th Anniversary with a talk from NWT Chief Executive Mike Pratt on 'A Wilder Northumberland'.

The full programme for our 2024-25 season of talks is on our Talks page . As usual we'll be meeting in St. Mary's Parish Centre and refreshments will be available. Entry fee £3.
